The Medium-sized shelves are assembled from columns, beams, and slats. An independent set consists of two columns, and such a shelf is called the main frame. If several sets are assembled into a row, except for the first set which requires two columns, the others can share one column with the previous set. Such a shelf is called the auxiliary frame.

If the shelves need to be moved frequently, it is recommended to use all the main frames. The shelves connected by the main and auxiliary frames must move along with the main frame.

Different types of shelves use different hole types to facilitate the connection of the beams. The commonly used hole types in the current market include trapezoidal holes, butterfly holes, rhombic holes, bean sprout holes, and eight-shaped holes. There is no specific standard for the specific hole type to be used, and most manufacturers adopt the corresponding hole type according to their own production processes.
